Day 2. Tuesday, January 9.

Colossians 1.13–14 - 13 For He delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption: the forgiveness of sins.

I remember that when our children were small, and we had to go on a trip, or on vacation there was a phrase that was practically inevitable in our children, “daddy, are we there yet”. How much longer? We are impatient people and from a very young age.
Today's word reflects to us that the Lord has been different in terms of the forgiveness of sins. In today's verse there are two very strong words, he freed us, and he moved us. If you pay attention it is done in the past tense, it means that this has already been done. When we come to Christ our spiritual transformation is amazingly fast, when you accept Jesus as your savior liberation happens instantly, you no longer have to live in the darkness, in the problems, in the vices of the past. Jesus Christ through the Cross of Calvary and his wonderful sacrifice, takes us to a wonderful kingdom. In that kingdom we have peace, forgiveness, healing, and many more advantages that only happen to the kingdom of our beloved Lord.

So that transformative journey of salvation is instant. Now, we have to live on this land, under the conditions of the Kingdom of the Lord. Remember that you and I are not in one more religion, but in the kingdom of the Lord. And in a kingdom there is a King and that is Jesus Christ and we have to learn to do what the King says and not what I want.
Let's not be like children by telling the Lord, Are we there yet?
Starting this year, starting this fast, say thank you to the Lord because I have the privileges of living in the Kingdom of God.

Action of the day:
• Thank the Lord for the liberation of the kingdom of darkness. You are free, you are blessed, you are healthy, your transformation has already begun.
• Today Tuesday is a good day to be thankful, and to praise, join the prayer 9:30 AM in the Church.

We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, fast with conscience. And ask your doctor if you can fast.
