Day 6: Saturday, January 11

“Responsibility”

Pastor Raquel

Ezra 10:4 (NIV84)   Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it.”

Sometimes, we face the temptation to evade our responsibilities. However, the Word of God reminds us that we must approach each task with courage and determination. Ezra 10:4 calls us to rise and get to work, reminding us that we have the divine support of the Holy Spirit to fulfill our responsibilities.

Asking for wisdom and seeking divine understanding means embracing our obligations with integrity and diligence. Evading our responsibilities only leads to additional complications and challenges.

To be truly responsible, we need to cultivate discipline, commitment, and honesty in our actions, recognizing that our decisions have significant consequences. Responsibility is a fundamental virtue in the Christian life. By taking our responsibilities seriously and dedicating ourselves to them, we honor God and contribute to the well-being of those around us. May divine wisdom and strength guide us as we carry out our daily tasks.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, we come before You asking for divine wisdom to be responsible in all our actions. Help us face our responsibilities with courage and commitment, trusting in Your guidance and strength. In Your name, we pray, Amen!

Matthew 5:37 (NIV84)  37 Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
