Day 13 Saturday, January 18

“Be Wise and Understand the Divine Will.”

Pastor Daniel

Colossians 1:9–10 (NIV84)  9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

We have learned that to achieve wisdom, we must go through a learning process. God will use the effort you put into reading, knowing, searching, and searching His Word. Therefore, it is essential to read the Bible more than ever in order to know the divine will.

God has created us in a unique way; your fingerprints are unrepeatable, as are the tone of your voice, your teeth, the shape of your eyes, and your hair. He has mapped out your destiny in advance so that you and I can discover it.

Both you and I have extraordinary purposes, destinies, and opportunities. Before you were born, God knew you and defined a destiny because He knows exactly what you are capable of achieving. However, He also gave us free will; you can choose to reach your destiny of blessing or, on the contrary, sabotage it by opting for selfishness and desires that satisfy personal interests, relegating the spiritual and giving in to the impulses of the flesh.

In today's verse, the apostle exhorts us to know the will of God, which we will achieve through understanding His thoughts expressed in the Bible.

The next step is to lead a life free of sin and in constant sanctification. Remember that without holiness, no one will see God, and living in righteousness will generate happiness within you.

Likewise, we must be productive in good works because, as Scripture teaches us, faith without works is dead.

Finally, spiritual growth is vital. We cannot remain immature children; we must grow, take responsibility, and be productive.

Once again, the knowledge of His will will open the way to wisdom and spiritual understanding.

Action for the day:

Spend some time in prayer, asking to know more deeply the will of the Lord.

Learn to pay the price of holiness to be an impeccable candidate, prepared to receive every blessing from heaven.

Prepare yourself to do good works. That is what pleases the Lord.
